    Hi Friends,
But to summarise them steps they are as follows:

    1. Set up analytics (web, form and SEO analytics) to start measuring so that you can identify if you are improving or not and to benchmark against competitors or sector.
    2. Technical analysis, including cross-browsing testing. This is about fixing stuff that is broken on your site and improving the user experience.
    3. Heuristic evaluation - This is an expert led assessment of the site and user journeys. See this post on how to conduct a heuristic evaluation: How To Undertake a Heuristic Evaluation of a Website - Conversion Uplift
    4. Web Analytics - Analyse your web analytics to identify the source of your traffic (how well is each traffic source performing), what content is driving traffic to your site, identify how your site is performing on key metrics like bounce rate and engagement metrics and analyse who your visitors are (e.g. their interests and demographics).
    5. Visual analytics, including browser recordings and click heatmaps. These tools allow you to observe and better understand user behaviour.
    6. Qualitative feedback - this is about gathering customer/visitor feedback whether from Customer Services, complaints data, surveys and polls.
    7. User Testing - undertake usability testing either remotely (online) or recruit some people to test your site on one-one basis. One test is better than none!
    8. Allocate issues to different buckets (e.g. need to further investigate, conduct A/B test, fix) and prioritise to focus on the most important issues.
